Adjunct Faculty, Liberal Studies Early College (Political Science and History) SALARY: Minimum salary is $1,397 per credit hour. Actual salary is commensurate with the DCE Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Applications are being accepted for part-time faculty to teach in our early college program for political science (PLS104 State and Local Government in America) and/or history (HIS104 United States History 2).
These courses meet in-person at partner high schools during the day either on TR or MF from 11-2:30. Course descriptions:
Job Requirements:
- A Master's degree in field with at least 18 graduate-level credits in the content subject area required.
- Teaching experience
- Ability to teach face to face courses at partner high schools in Salem and Revere.
- Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI background check as a condition of employment at both the college and the respective high school.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fluency in Spanish or another language. (Candidates should note their level of proficiency in their cover letter and resume.)
