We’re looking for a data-driven strategist to join our in-office team in Gilbert, AZ and drive client growth through cutting-edge AI-enhanced search strategies. If you're passionate about staying ahead of the curve and crafting audience-first SEO campaigns, this is the role for you.

The Role

You’re a seasoned SEO strategist with a passion for innovation, a consultant’s mindset, and a drive to lead impactful campaigns. You don't just follow SEO trends. You define them. You thrive on anticipating client needs before they speak them, and you understand that modern search strategy demands a blend of audience insight, technical expertise, content innovation, and AI-enhanced execution.

This isn’t a behind-the-scenes role. You'll collaborate directly with clients and internal account leads to craft and execute organic growth plans that align with business objectives. Your work will go far beyond keywords and links. You'll deeply understand your clients' markets, competitors, and customers, and use that knowledge to build meaningful, measurable results.

Role Highlights

• Lead SEO strategy and execution across multiple clients and verticals
• Research far beyond SEO. Into audience needs, industry trends, and competitive gaps. To build campaigns that align with user intent
• Collaborate directly with clients and internal account leads to build trust, contribute strategic insights, and drive results
• Use tools like GA4, GSC, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and AI platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, etc.) to craft intelligent, data-backed strategies
• Partner cross-functionally with content, design, analytics, and dev teams to create integrated campaigns
• Leverage AI to automate and scale workflows. From brief creation to SERP pattern recognition to link prospecting
• Explore opportunities for increasing brand visibility in AI-driven search interfaces. Like Google SGE, Bing Copilot, and chat-based tools such as ChatGPT and Perplexity
• Regularly report on campaign progress, translating data into clear business insights

You’ll Thrive Here If You...

• Have 4+ years managing SEO campaigns and leading client relationships in an agency or fast-paced environment
• Think in terms of people, not just keywords. And always prioritize user intent and audience-first strategy
• Have hands-on experience implementing SEO: technical fixes, site structure, internal linking, schema, etc.
• Excel at link building, digital PR, and off-site authority development
• Understand local SEO strategy, GBP optimization, and citation management
• Can confidently present to and consult with C-level stakeholders
• Are passionate about the future of SEO and curious about how AI is changing the game
• Are actively exploring how to increase visibility in emerging AI-powered search channels
• Have project management chops and can juggle multiple client needs with ease

Bonus Points For:

• Experience directing content strategy and collaborating with writers
• Success in highly competitive industries or challenging local markets
• Understanding of Core Web Vitals, programmatic SEO, or advanced schema
• A personal blog, speaking experience, or public sharing of SEO/AI insights
