Description We are assisting our client a Brand Name firm base in Stamford, CT with their search for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst. In this role, you will play a vital part in analyzing financial data, providing insights, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. Responsibilities: - Evaluate financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights. - Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and budgeting processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business performance and provide recommendations. - Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders to communicate findings effectively. - Monitor and assess market trends to inform investment strategies and business decisions. - Utilize advanced Excel functionalities to streamline financial analysis and reporting processes. - Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results against forecasts and budgets. - Support senior management in strategic planning by providing accurate financial assessments. - Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements. - Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements. Requirements - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools. - Strong background in business analysis and financial modeling. - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to interpret complex financial data and present findings clearly. - Effective communication skills for collaboration and stakeholder engagement. - Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards. - Experience in investment management or related industries is a plus.
