Job Description:

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Technical Delivery Manager to lead full lifecycle delivery of large-scale Salesforce initiatives. This role requires a strong blend of technical depth, architectural understanding, and delivery leadership. The ideal candidate will oversee solution design, integrations, data migration, release management, and cross-functional team alignment across onshore/offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Leadership

  • Own end-to-end technical delivery of Salesforce programs from requirements through deployment.
  • Ensure alignment with Salesforce best practices, governance, and security standards.
  • Lead and coordinate global/offshore development teams for build and QA cycles.
  • Collaborate with product owners and managers on requirements tracking, UAT closure, communication, and training.

Solution Architecture

  • Review and validate technical and solution designs.
  • Oversee integrations with third-party systems and legacy platforms.
  • Own data migration strategy, including user rollouts across Salesforce orgs.
  • Provide guidance on solution gaps, technical feasibility, and delivery approach.

Team Management

  • Lead a cross-functional team of developers, admins, BAs, QA, and technical consultants.
  • Promote collaboration between business stakeholders, product managers, and technical teams.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for IT and business leadership.
  • Identify gaps between business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Track milestones, risks, dependencies, and progress across teams.
  • Build consensus and drive alignment across stakeholders.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Implement and monitor robust testing strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with QA management to align test schedules and execution.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and emerging technologies.
  • Recommend platform and process enhancements to improve performance and user experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience

  • 12+ years in IT, with at least 8+ years in the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex, enterprise-grade Salesforce programs.
  • Minimum 3 large-scale Salesforce implementations (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ).

Certifications

  • Minimum 5 Salesforce certifications, including:
    • Administrator
    • Platform Developer I & II
    • Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud Consultant
    • Application Architect (preferred)

Technical Expertise

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, LWC, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience with integration tools (MuleSoft, Informatica) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency with Copado, Data Loader, DocuSign, and release management processes.
  • Strong understanding of data migration and ETL strategies.

Leadership & Communication

  • Proven stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps and release automation practices.
  • Exposure to multiple Salesforce Clouds (Marketing, Revenue, Service, Sales, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (mandatory).
